Florida Mandated Reporter Course
This training aims to equip attendees with the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill their role as professionally mandated reporters and actively contribute to preventing child abuse and neglect. By the end of the session, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of their legal obligations, the reporting process, critical thinking frameworks, and the importance of their role in protecting children's well-being.

  • The course is self-paced but may take up to 2 hours to complete.

 

Child Abuse and Neglect Indicators Microlearning
This learning experience will guide you through the definitions and commonly seen signs of child abuse and neglect. Before the end of the material, you will check your understanding by analyzing four scenarios for indicators of abuse or neglect. This microlearning is recommended for staff who are not familiar with or need a refresher on common indicators of child abuse and neglect.

  • Approximate time to complete the course: 30 minutes
